Below I’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions, the answers provided will hopefully explain a little about how we do things here at beach bunny.

Uhm, Grooming? Once a month bathing (unless they really need it) and daily to weekly brushing.

What do you guys feed them? We feed our rabbits feeder pellets, (made with alfalfa & timothy hay) veggies from our garden, fresh fruit & grass.

Do they just sit in their cage all day? Nope! In fact our little Beach Bunnies get several hours of playtime at the beach or more often the backyard where they can eat their fill of grass.

Are their shots up to date? Seriously…who gives their rabbits shots? We believe that we should only administer shots when it’s medically necessary…so that’s a no.

Are they potty trained? Technically no, however it is very easy to potty train a rabbit and if you end up stopping by to pick up your rabbit, I’ll let you know how.

Are they hand held since birth? Yes. We really have a problem with keeping our hands to ourselves.

Can two male rabbits get along? This is rather hard to answer. Male rabbits who are raised together are more likely to get along with each other than those that are just thrown together unexpectedly. Though, Some male rabbits are sweet and they get along just fine. And others (like Jack & Mr. Fluff) want to rip off each-other’s heads. So your guess is as good as mine.

Are they purebred? Yes, But we occasionally raise mix breed bunnies. But not all of our bunnies have “pedigrees” so technically we aren’t 100% sure if the buns are truly purebred… And if you think about it, the only pure bred rabbit ever in existence was the one in the Garden of Eden! But we do have a few pedigreed bucks and does.

Can I pick a bunny now and pay for it later? Yes you can! You have to pay half of the price of the rabbit’s rehoming fee as a deposit for reservation and then you just pick your favorite bunny out and we’ll hold them for you until they are weaned & ready to leave their mother.
